Offered here are issues 1-70 of Alpha Flight from Marvel Comics in 1983 onwards. Written and illustrated by John Byrne (for the first 28 issues), the series followed on the heels of the team's appearance in issues 120 and 121 of Uncanny X-Men, reintroducing the government sponsored team and introducing 2 new members-Puck and Marrina. Byrne left the book to take over creative control on The Incredible Hulk, so the creative team of Bill Mantlo and Mike Mignola jumped over to Alpha Flight, with Mantlo staying on the title until issue 66, when James D Hudnall took over the title. Mignola left the book after just 3 issues and was replaced by Sal Buscema and then David Ross, until a new young artist named Jim Lee got his big break on the book with issue 51. This run features numerous first appearances including Lady Deathstrike, and also guest appearances from Wolverine and The X-Men. Cover art is by John Byrne, Mike Mignola, Jim Lee, Kevin Nowlan, David Ross and more. All the issues are first printings and are in good condition; there are some instances of spine ticks and wear on some of the earlier issues, as well as slight corner creases, but all are readable. Issues 29-31 are signed in black ink on the covers by Mike Mignola. The signatures were obtained by myself at the Thoughtbubble comic convention in 2016, where he was a guest.

Returns: I do accept returns if there is a valid problem with an item. Please contact me promptly after receiving your item and we can sort things out.
