This is a really neat, uncommon, blue, 3-Cent, Liberian postal stationery card(w/response card detached; very clean w/little wear and tear around its edges) sent from Monrovia, Liberia, to Kiel, Germany, on August 7, 1897, to a German sailor serving aboard the German warship, S.M.S. Stein! The Stein was a Bismarck-class corvette completed in 1880. The sender was an ethnic German friend then in Liberia!
