In the original binding with black titles to the boards, and plain paper spine.

George Brannon was a self-taught Isle of Wight artist, engraver, printer and publisher who recorded detailed views and images of the Island before the advent of photography.
His family first moved to the Isle of Wight from London in around 1809 and lived in Landscape Cottage on Wootton Common. Here he began his life’s work engraving and publishing his superb copperplate prints for his Vectis Scenery publications — the theme of the exhibition.
Provenance: the name GJ Brooks to the front board.
