AUSTRALIA: 2012 $1 x 2 "Diamond Jubilee" very rare, 2 x 1 troy ounce .999 silver proofs + capsules + box + certificate  + outer box - excellent***   (my ref. 659.16)

This extremely beautiful and rarely offered pair of One Dollar coins was produced by the Perth Mint to commemorate the "Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II".

One coin features the "Accession in 1952" and the other one the "Royal Tour in 1954".

Each coin has a diameter of 40.6 mm, weighs 31.135 grams, was struck in .999 silver and contain 1 troy ounce of pure silver (2 troy ounces overall).  They both have selective 24 carat gold inset cameos. They are proofs with frosted relief and were struck to a very high standard. They are very rare  with an edition limit of only 1,000 sets. This one is # 332.

They come in plastic capsules inside their luxury box of issue together with a Perth Mint certificate of authenticity with with specifications, design details and a brief history. There is also a very attractive outer protective cardboard box.

*** The coins, the box, the capsules, the outer box (2 minor folds on one edge) and the certificate (very minor folds) are in excellent condition. There was some reflection during photography. A superb set.

This item is small parcel size and I must use tracked postal services with higher compensation. It is more expensive to post, especially to international destinations. For UK bidders I have added a cheaper "Tracked 48" option.

General information:

All my items are genuine and I try to describe the condition and point out any defects and provide photographs of each item to assist you.

Please contact me if you have any queries.

I show my normal postage and packing terms below but please email me if you have any queries or special requirements and I will endeavour to accommodate them if this is possible and reasonable.

Multiple Purchases, Combined Postage Discount and Invoicing:

I give generous combined postage discounts if you win multiple items.   This is calculated by weight and a number of items may cost the same as or only slightly more than a single item.  If you win multiple lots please wait for an invoice. I send these out by the end of the evening when all our lots have finished.  If you have finished your bidding, you can request an invoice immediately and I will usually respond within a few minutes.

Post and Packing Policy:

I use a padded envelope and all items will be well packed. I keep postage and packing charges very close to cost price. Please note that Royal Mail increase their postage charges once or twice each year.

Customs Labels:

All packages posted to countries outside the UK must have a customs label displayed on the front. This will show the full value of the contents (rounded to the nearest pound). Please do not ask me to show a lower value as this is completely illegal and also against eBay’s rules. Please note that a small proportion of packages sent to countries outside the UK are routinely checked by the destination country's customs authorities. Any customs duties, import levies or postal surcharges that might be applied in your own country are entirely your responsibility (see the special EU rules below). This applies to all goods traded throughout the world.

There are now special rules that apply to exports to the EU and in most cases taxes will be collected by eBay subject to certain limits. An IOSS number will be shown on the front of the package. This should speed up customs clearance.

Items posted to UK destinations:

For packages up to £50 - these can be sent either by 1st class post at your risk or by "signed for recorded delivery" at my risk.

For packages over £50 - these must be sent by either "signed for recorded delivery" with compensation up to £50 at my risk and the excess at your risk (for the amount above £50) or by "special delivery" fully insured at my risk.

For packages over £100 – these must always be posted by “special delivery”.

Items posted to European Union and Worldwide destinations (outside the UK):

For packages up to £100 - these must always be sent by "International signed for" delivery which is tracked and registered with compensation up to £50 at sent my risk and the excess at your risk (for the amount above £50) or with additional compensation up to £250 for an extra charge of £2.50 sent at my risk.

For packages over £100 - these must always be sent by "International signed for" delivery which is tracked and registered with additional compensation up to £250 for an extra charge of £2.50 and sent at my risk.

Returns Policy:

I operate a returns policy and I will meet my obligations under UK law.  If the item you receive is not as described, please contact me so that we can discuss the options. Under these circumstances I would accept the return and provide a full refund upon safe receipt of the item providing it’s in the same condition as when I posted it. I will also pay for the cost of return postage.  This also applies to international packages. I will not usually accept returns under other circumstances but we can discuss this if you are unhappy with your purchase.
