HiFi Separates 1983 Hitachi MD1 System With Pioneer PDM60 multi-play CD player from 1987. This is a Sale of some rather nice vintage Hifi from the 1980s, don't get nostalgic for the Amstrad system you had, buy the system you should of got back then, but was way out of the price range you had. Everything in this sale was made in Japan, which is where all the high end audio stuff was made back in the 1980s. This Sale is  comprising of the following items Hitachi ha-md1 Amp, Hitachi HT-L33 Turntable, Hitachi ft-md1 Tuner, Hitachi D-MD 1 Twin Cassette Deck and Pioneer PD-M60 CD Player

Hitachi ha-md1 Amp 20 watts RMS per channel, this is enough power to drive most modern speakers, Power Level LEDs very retro 1980s, will look great in the dark. Bass,Treble and Balance separate controls, Microphone input with mixing controls, it has the following inputs Tape, CD / Aux, Tuner and Phone.

Hitachi HT-L33 Turntable Linear Turntable fully automatic, will sound a million times better, then any of those suitcase turntables that seem to be sold everywhere. This can be fitted with a Audio Technica cartridge, to really get it sounding it’s best.

Hitachi ft-md1 Tuner FM, MW and LW with separate  Antenna hookup around the back, to allow you to receive the best possible signal, with signal indicator LEDs and a FM Stereo LED.

Hitachi D-MD 1 Twin Cassette Deck with Dolby B & C NR, manual record levels, tape selector giving the option for playback of Normal type 1, chrome type ii and type 4 Metal. This deck also has high speed dubbing, continuous play from deck 1 to deck 2 and a tape counter. This is far better then any tape player you can buy today.

Pioneer PD-M60 CD Player was originally sold in stores for $400 in 1987, in today's money that is  $1,110.39 in 2024. This CD player has a  6-Disc Magazine that you can load up and swap out for another one, headphones socket with its own volume control, S/N Ratio: 98 dB, 32-Track Programming.

The Hitachi separates are 12.6 x 3.5 x 12.6 inches, The Pioneer CD players is 16.5"x 12.5"x 4", I am   selling on behalf of someone, it was in his house, he has just upgraded his system and move this one to his workshop to save space, it does not come with any speakers, as these are being used on his new system, with 20 watts RMS per channel, these will have no problems driving some nice speakers, that you could also find on eBay. it comes in a wooden cabinet to complete that 1980s look, would look great in a man cave, games room or just a 1980 theme set up next to a CRT TV with a NES.

This one is collection only due to size and weight, this is a proper nice early 1980s set-up with the added Pioneer CD player, it's not the cheap Amstrad  one, this would had cost a lot back in the day. I have been informed that everything works as it should.
