VINTAGE JIMMIE KING, JR.
NAVAJO STERLING BRACELET

Up for auction is a very nice estate-find vintage Native American handmade sterling silver inlaid bracelet. This fine bracelet unfortunately is missing a section of the inlay, a portion measuring 3/8" long, so I am selling it AS IS to be worn like it is or for restoration/repair. The inlaid design has a wonderful look made of one large central area and two smaller flanking areas, incorporating red coral, jet, lapis, mother of pear/shell (I think), and turquoise. These inlaid stones rise above the level of the sterling with a pleasant domed/curved top finish. The sterling cuff itself is interestingly decorated with diagonal incised marks asymmetrically on either side. The cuff itself is also uncommon in that the thickness as you look down at it tapers from one side to the other. One end starts at 1/4" and graduates to 3/8". The side thickness is consistent at 3/16" thick. The bracelet when laying on its side measures 2 1/2" x 2". Other than the missing inlay the piece is in great condition, showing only light wear consistent with little or gentle use. The inside of the bracelet is marked "Handmade by Jimmie King, Jr. Navajo Sterling, along with his maker's mark. Please look at photos for condition. What you see is what you will receive. If you have any questions, please ask prior to bidding. I do not accept returns. Good luck !!
