Popup sweetcorn
This is the
original pop up sweetcorn developed by us in 1999, the bait that changed the
face of modern day carp fishing, and started the imitation bait revolution.
Often copied but
never bettered, this bait is responsible for the capture of thousands of large
carp including a former british record, plus specimen tench, bream, crucians
and roach. Impregnated with our special attractants, the imitation grains are
soft enough for side hooking but are most effective when used on a hair rig,
either alone or combined with real grains of corn. Use the buoyancy to your
advantage to create popped up or critically balanced hook baits, using a small
shot if required to counterbalance the rig .

Pineapple), Unflavoured Yellow, Black & White.
Mini Popup Sweetcorn
Mini Version of
our popular buoyant imitation sweetcorn, soft enough to use on the hook, or
hair rig if desired. Ideal for pleasure and specialist
angler’s.
Our mini corn can be used on its own or in
conjunction with real corn, either hooked direct or mounted on a hair rig.
Ideal for most species, particularly fish that may be wary of larger baits. For
best results fish over a bed of particles, pellets etc.
Available in Yellow (Fruity Pineapple) &
Unflavoured Yellow.
Our buoyant Mini Pop-Up Sweetcorn can be fished in a
number of different ways, and has proved very effective for carp, tench and
bream.
Offering an alternative to our Midi and Standard
sizecorn, our Mini Pop-Up Corn can be used on its own, in conjunction with real
corn to create a balanced hook bait, or used to tip a boilie or pellet to
increase attraction.
Mega
Popup Sweetcorn
Extra large version of our popular buoyant imitation
sweetcorn, soft enough to use on the hook, or hair rig if desired.
Our buoyant mega corn has been designed to offer
maximum flexibility when creating rigs to fool wary fish. The inclusion of a
hole into one side enables weight to be added to create a critically balanced
or sinking bait. Alternatively it can be filled with paste for added
attraction, or used to conceal a hair stop. Can be used as a slow sinking or
critically balanced bait, by adding tungsten putty to the hole.
Resists the attention of nuisance species including
crayfish.
Note:- Although the buoyancy of individual
grains may vary slightly it will remain the same, even after prolonged use.
Popup
Maize Mixed Sizes
Buoyant imitation maize, soft enough to use on the
hook or hair rig that is resistant to the attentions of nuisance species
including Crayfish.
Popup maize is best fished on a hair rig over a bed
of real maize /corn and pellet.It can be used popped up on it’s own or in
conjunction with real maize, to produce a critically balanced hook bait.
The pack contains 10 grains in various shapes and
sizes.
Sweetcorn
Hairstops
Our buoyant sweetcorn hair stops combine the fish
attracting properties of our imitation corn, with the convenience of an easy to
use hair stop, eliminating the need for a traditional dumbbell type stop.
Ideal for use with boilies, pellets, nuts etc,
acting as a sight tag to further enhance their attraction, a tactic that many
of the country’s top carp angler’s have adopted. Their buoyancy helps to
counterbalance the weight of the hook bait, increasing the chances of a pick
up.
Directions for use:-
Simply place the sweetcorn hair stop, grooved side up, into the hair loop
before pulling the hair tight, ensuring the loop sits in the bottom of the
groove.
Combined hair and hair stop. Use instead of a traditional hair stop to enhance
the attraction of boilies, pellets etc.
