The print, vermilion and black on cream in classic Northwest Coast style, is by Bill Reid (1920-1998) of the Haida people, British Columbia, Canada, one of the foremost native artists of the second half of the 20th century. He produced over a thousand original works in various media. His honors include Order of British Columbia.
