Antique 1940s Women's Wool Tweed 2 pc Suit with matching belt

Color is a wool tweed that almost ends up looking lavender gray.

I love the 40's tailored style and this suit has it all with the fitted waist Peplum back. Belt even can clinch the waist more.

Shoulder pads. Pocket. Covered fabric buttons and turned cuffs.

Jacket is lined with a pretty lavender pink.

Jacket Measures approx.:

Bust arm pit to arm pit 19" across so 38" bust

23" long jacket

31" to 32" JACKET waist without belt

17" inseam in the sleeves

Skirt:

28" Waist

Has side zipper and hook and eye and snaps (see picture before last for side zipper)

33" long to hem

Hips about 40"

Skirt has partial lining not full.

I have owned this suit for years and sad to see it goc but needs to go to someone that can wear or enjoy it.

Nice condition for age:

NOTE: There is a slight yellow area on one of the sides/back of the upper arm of jacket, hard to photograph, shown in last picture. I Have NOT tried to get it out. Not very noticeable, noticed when taking pictures.
