Ray Benge (1902-1887) was a major league right-handed pitcher for 12 seasons with the Indians (1925-1926), Phillies (1928-1932 & 1936), Dodgers (1933-1935), Bost. Braves (1936), and Reds (1938). Benge appeared in 346 games, with a record of 101-129, 12 shut-outs, 19 saves, a 4.52, and as a batter, hit .188, with 36 RBIs. He had 6 seasons of pitching 200+ innings, and his best season in 1934, with a career best 14-12.
