This is the v2 version of the Hyper card that supports PCIe 3.0/Gen3 via an x16 slot. See Asus website for more product details.

Note that if you want to access all 4 slots as separate devices (for software RAID) then your motherboard must support PCIe bifurcation (i.e. x4x4x4x4 mode on an x16 slot).
