For sale is a vintage or antique (unsure of age) red lacquer (or likewise) Japanese inro, or smalls container. This is in overall decent condition with signs of light to general wear from previous use, age, and storage/display. Light to general surface wear is present which includes surface scratching, scuffing, and some discoloration. There is discoloration and light staining to the tassel and rope seen. It appears that most rhinestones on the hinges are present with the exception of a few missing. The large lid inside the container has some separation present, including when touched/pushed (pictured). It appears that one side of the rope was detached at some point and was repaired with a new knot (pictured).
