I have here for sale a book entitled MISSEL GOTHIQUE contenant les Prieres du matin et du soir, la Sainte Messe, Les Vepres, les Antiennes a la Sainte Vierge, le Salut du saint Sacrement, et un Recueil des plus belles Prieres connues.  It is a French Missal book published by L Curmer around 1890.  There is no publication date but similar books online by the same publisher were around 1880-1900.  It has lovely wide decorative borders to every page and is written in French Gothic script.  

Full calf leather hardboards with a gilt double border.  Gilt cross decoration to the spine with gilt ettering.  Scuffed to head and tail and to board edges.  The lovely thing about this book is it has gilt page edges all round and is closed with pretty brass clasps (both working properly).  A few marks to the leather and foxing to the silk endpapers, frontispiece and title page, but otherwise this book is in very good condition inside and out.  Unpaginated.  16 x 11 cm.
