❌The seeds have been stratified and are ready for cultivation. Sow the seeds in a seedling container, sprinkle about 1.2 cm of loose soil on top and moisten the soil. Cover with a lid with a hole to avoid condensation. When the plant has a couple of leaves, it can be replanted in larger pots. Plants in the first year do not need fertilizer or protection from insects.


❌These South African perennial plants are equally suitable for borders and large containers. Agapanthus look great when planted with drifts of ornamental grasses, sun-loving rudbeckias and goldenrod (Solidago). Agapanthus are brilliant hardy perennials that will flourish in sunny areas of the garden in well-drained, fertile soil where they will reach an eventual height of up to 90cm.
