1935 Art Deco G.E

Half Round Black Bakelite (Textolite)

Cigarette Box /Container on Chrome Ball Feet

with a Green Bakelite Rectangular Lid

& Chrome Ball Finial 

With Beautiful Art Deco Moulded Details

This style box came in two forms,

some with ball feet & some with moulded feet

Scrolled GE Trade Mark of the General Electric Company 

along with block letters FW & Numeral 4

Attributed to being a souvenir of the G.E Company

at the Commeration 

'Century of Progress' in the Chicago Exhibition

Measures 13cm long, 8 cm wide & stands approx. 6.5 cm high

not including the finial

CONDITION

Base has a very small hairline crack on one corner

a small chip on side rim

Lid shows a sliver under one corner &

a tiny chip under another corner

None of these faults really show when on display 

Starting bid reflects faults shown
