I have for offer an early Canadian, British Columbia, A Phillips Victoria (VI) Vancouver Island, Stoneware Ginger Beer bottle. This bottle is part of a larger group recovered by my Dad who used to dive shipwrecks around the British Islands. I understand that Mr A (Alex) Phillips had this bottle made by Doulton Lambeth and then shipped them in bulk to Canada c1858-1876. However this one along with the others never made it and my Dad found them diving over 100 years later and put them away, not knowing how important they were. This bottle is a little different, because whoever made it at the Doulton Lambeth factory didn't stamp it Doulton Lambeth, however we know it was made by them as all the other bottles recovered have the stamp, they are made the same way and they were all together. It is in great condition, without crack or chip, has part of the original cork and one of the better bottles from this collection. I will hopefully be selling the whole collection over the next few months and if you have any further questions about this bottle please just ask. Regards Finderkeeperkent. UK.
