Lovely watercolour and ink artwork titled 'The Mole' by renowned Diss artist, Mike Webb, best known for his long running 'Mere Quacks' cartoon strip that appeared in the Diss Express newspaper for over 50 years. Dating from 1984, it is made up of layered card to give a 3D effect and features a mole in his tunnel with an earthworm appearing in a clear window behind. Fully signed front and back, the picture is
17cm wide by 12 cm
tall and the frame is
19.4cm by 14.4cm.
The piece is in very good condition with some minor marks to the frame.
