Victorian Cream Pintuck Net Lace Pagoda Bell Butterfly Sleeve Short Shrug Bolero Jacket

This antique Victorian era cream pintuck net lace pagoda bell butterfly sleeve short shrug bolero jacket dates from the 1870s. It is made of an off white cream color sheer net fabric with decorative embroidered designs, pintuck pleating and lace trim appliqued accents. This lovely lace bolero jacket has a short shrug style with an open front, no closure, gathered shoulders, short wide flared butterfly bell shaped pagoda sleeves and is fully lined, back in a cream silk fabric. The jacket measures 13 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 13 inch long sleeve, 14 inches wide across the cuff and a 14 inch back. It is in good condition, with only a small faint black spot on the sleeve cuff (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana wearable art!
