LOULOTTE® and BECASSINE

 On the occasion of the exhibition at the Paris Doll Museum "Bécassine unveils the Treasures of Loulotte®", and to meet the demand of our many customers who are passionate about Bleuette and its history, we had the idea of launching, in February 2015, a new edition of the little Loulotte® doll, limited to 200 copies.

This is not a reproduction of the 1994 doll but a new edition whose head mold was entirely made by us. She still measures 24 cm, has a very pretty little porcelain head with glass eyes.

The limited edition of 200 pieces (Loulotte® numbered from 1 to 200) having been sold out in a few months, here is a new series of Loulotte® dolls.
This new edition is not numbered and Loulotte® is now available with brown, blue, blue-grey or green eyes, with a human hair or mohair wig. It can be sold dressed or naked.

Loulotte® Character Story:
Mr. Maurice Languereau, publisher of the magazine "La Semaine de Suzette" and editor of the adventures of "Bécassine" had an only daughter Claude in 1921 whose existence inspired him to create the character of "Loulotte®" in his comic strips.
She will appear alongside her nurse Bécassine from 1921 and several albums will bear her name:
* "Loulotte® and Bécassine"
* "Bécassine and the little Loulotte®"
* "Where did Loulotte® go?"

History of the Loulotte® doll:
Mrs. Colette Merlen, true specialist and passionate about Bleuette, author of 2 sumptuous books "Bleuette, Suzette's Week Doll" volumes 1 and 2, organized in 1994 in Lille, the "World Congress of the Bleuette doll".
For this occasion, she decided, in collaboration with Mrs. Marie-Edith Charles, no less passionate about Bleuette, to make a little "souvenir" doll which would be Bleuette's little "sister" and this is how "LOULOTTE®" was born.
