A beautiful English Victorian antique solid sterling silver sugar sifter spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1870 with a makers mark being Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall). It has been beautifully made with the terminal being engraved with a double crest, one is a demi griffin used by several families including the Griffin and Leeth families the other is used by the Mackenzie Family of Munlocky Scotland - two crest usually signify a wedding gift. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15cm) long by 1.75 inches (4.6cm) wide and weighs 36 grams. A beautifully made interesting example.
