Vintage Cream Color Sheer Net Silk Ribbon Chevron Trim Handkerchief Hem Skirt Dress

This vintage cream color sheer net silk ribbon chevron trim handkerchief hem skirt dress dates from 1920. It is made of an off white cream color sheer tulle net fabric, with cream silk ribbon ruched gathered trim done in a chevron pattern design. This sheer summer dress has a long tea length scalloped handkerchief hem skirt, a fitted petersham waistband inside, a layered ruffle flounce scalloped collar, short puffy sleeves with ribbon bow accents, hook, snap closures down the back and is sheer, net lined. The dress measures 46 inches long, with a 34 inch chest, 26 inch waist, 44 inch hips and an 11 inch back. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned with some faint age spotting on the front top (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
