Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition book which is OUT OF PRINT and a memoir of life in THE DOORS written by group drummer JOHN DENSMORE--the book is a Fourth Printing and a softcover copy.  This book is in excellent condition and has a very small and light discolored spot on the lower center page edge, a tiny owner's name on the upper left edge of the inner surface of the front cover and just light shelfwear and light evidence of gentle browsing but no other significant flaws!   The book is titled Riders on the Storm: My Life with Jim Morrison and The Doors and it was written by JOHN DENSMORE;  it was published by Delta in October 1991 and is a 4th Printing with a publication line reading 10 9 8 7 6 5 4.

Doors drummer Densmore, who had a love-hate relationship with lead singer Morrison, a warm friendship with the "enormously talented" guitarist Robby Krieger, and feelings of contempt and disgust for organist and "hapless, bumbling sideman" Ray Manzarek, sympathetically chronicles the self-destructive Lizard King Morrison's rise and fall and Manzarek's "tone-deaf, inept and pathetically weak" attempts to keep The Doors alive.

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
