8MB DiskOnChip Millenium - a flash disk in a JEDEC DIP32 package, as used on embedded controllers and industrial SBC (Single Board Computers). Low-profile, small form factor and high speed - these are perfect for SBC's, which often include a socket especially for these. A regular PC can use these if you have an appropriate ROM ISA card (such as the XT-CF lite (in place of the 29Fxxx ROM)) or a socket on a NIC for option ROMS.

- No additional software is needed

- No drivers to load

- Does not need an IDE or any disk controller hardware on the PC

- These use a small window of option ROM memory to with its bootloader creating a regular looking hard disk to the OS that you choose to install.

- Extra DOS utilities are available (i can provide links) to format, test, and otherwise manipulate the bootloader and whole-module re-imaging if needed.

These are used modules but I have formatted each one and put on a blank DOS 6.22 bootable partition along with the latest firmware bootloader "TrueFFS 5140". The photo provided in this listing shows the TrueFFS boot message from the DOC loading at D800h.

I have a number of these modules and I discarded any that failed this process, the photo is representative of the  same part number module you will receive, with only differences being the serial number and maybe some physical differences in condition.
