POP ART ERA. 1950-60'S.

This is a rare pair of clip on earrings made in the Pop Art era of the 1950-'60's  by the celebrated Mid-century French designer Andrée Bazot of Paris. The brooch is made from fused glass on enamels on to the copper base layer. The yellow, blues are edge-trailed finally with gold, probably 18 Ct. The reverse reveals the copper which is signed with the designer's name. Fixed to the reverse are strong spring metal clips.

Marks: Painted in black on the reverse as a signature on the copper 'Andrée Bazot Paris'.
