Rare opportunity to acquire a superbly detailed Minichamps 1:43 scale replica model PIAA Tyrrell-Ford 025, driven by Jos Verstappen in the 1997 Formula One season.

The Tyrrell 025 was an evolution of the previous year's 024, with Ford V8 engines replacing Yamaha 10s in a quest for improved reliability. However, the season proved largely disappointing for the team. While the chassis was well-balanced, the drivers quick and strategy good, the sport's increased competitiveness, coupled with the V8 lacking in power against the V10 cars, Tyrrell were restricted to a battle with fellow V8 runner Minardi for much of the season.

Jos Verstappen moved from the Footwork team, replacing Ukyo Katayama, but faired little better in term of reliability with the 025: suffering nine retirements in the seventeen race season. The eight races in which he finished, yielded mainly mid-pack positions, with a best-place eighth in Monaco.
