*Installation steps
1. Check the degree of wear on the skin of the handbrake. If the wear is serious, it is recommended to change the hand brake skin first. (Note: handbrake skin, not foot brake skin)
2. Install the handbrake cable and adjust the gap between the handbrake and the brake drum as small as possible.
3. Plug in the computer plug, open the phone key door, check if the electronic handbrake module works normally (the second and third steps must not be reversed)
4. If the electronic handbrake template works normally, finally install the emergency unlocking line.
*Installation tips
To ensure safety and normal usage of our product,please let professional auto mechanic to install this Parking Brake Actuator with Control Unit ;to avoid damaging the mechanic or causing accidents,please do not dismantle the products.
Note:
1. Do not pull the emergency unlocking line at any time, unless the handbrake template is damaged, can't be removed, pull the emergency unlocking line, and the hand brake computer cannot continue to use after hearing the “kaba” sound.
2. If some fault codes cannot be cleared, drive a circle of approximately 5 to 10 kilometers, then go back, stop the fire, try again, and some fault codes will be automatically deleted.

Installation suggestions:
1.Do not pull the emergency unlocking cable.
2.Install the EMF(EPB) and reduce the gap between brake pads.
3.Please replace the brake disc in time if the excessive gap occurs.
4.Install the plug and programming or shut down shipping mode and repair mode.
A:Why should we adjust the gap between brake pads?
Most of EPB(EMF) with issues of stuck and fault code need to be replaced, the fault code includes emergency unlocking, mechanical fault,which are caused by the excessive gap between brake pads. It is necessary to handle this issue for better performance.
B:How to adjust the gap?
1.Tighten it until the wheels stop turning.
2.Go back 3-4 teeth, a little friction of brake disc may occurs,but the EMF(EPB) will adjust it automatically. DON'T WORRY~
3.Keep the two wheels with the same gap distance.
C: What will happen if you don't adjust the gap? Why the service life is short?
1.Two wheels with different gap distance can be noisy.
2.The excessive gap makes long running of the motor,which will cause stuck easily as the motor works longer.
3.The excessive gap will also give rise to disconnect.
