WABC was the legendary AM Top 40 station for New York City in the late 60's, competing with WOR-FM on FM. This Radio 77 WABC Music Power Survey is from 9-20-69. At the top is a picture of WABC DJ Roby Yonge. On the rear is an ad for Mennen Dry deodorant. #1 song was Honky Tonk Women - Rolling Stones. Jumping to #2 from #8, Sugar Sugar - The Archies. Jammed up at #3, Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond. Dropping to #4 from #2, A Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash. Slipping to #5 from #4, Get Together - The Youngbloods. Jammed up at #6, Jean - Oliver. Jumping to #7 from #11, Green River - Creedence Clearwater Revival. Jumping to #10 from #13, Lay Lady Lay - Bob Dylan. Tumbling to #14 from #5, Crystal Blue Persuasion - Tommy James & The Shondells. Survey is in good condition; measures 8-1/2 x 3-1/2.
