This beautiful eight track tape player does light up when it is plugged in but the only eight track that I could use to test the player may be faulty, not sure. I put in a 50-year-old Gordon Lightfoot eight track tape, but it would not play. There are no cracks or obvious damage whatsoever to this tape player, it appears to be well cared for. The player itself is 11 x 8 x 4.
