Vintage Pintuck Pleats Cream Crepe de Chine Silk Lace Ruffle Shirt Blouse

This vintage pintuck pleats cream crepe de chine silk lace ruffle shirt blouse dates from the 1940s. It is made of an off white ivory cream color sheer silk crepe de chine fabric with pintuck pleats detail, white Valenciennes bobbin lace trim and pleated ruffled trim edging. This beautiful blouse has a fitted tailored style, gathered shoulders, long full sleeves with fitted lace cuffs, a ruffled lace trim high neck collar, pearl button closures down the front and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 22 inches long, with a 40 inch chest, 34 inch waist, 17 inch long sleeve, 16 inch back and 16 inch neck. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned with some slight yellowing faint discoloration small stains scattered (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
