This was my father's trombone ~ he studied at Ithaca College in 1953 ~ He may have played this in high-school (graduated 1948).    It's from a smoke-free home.

I believe that it's Model #1407

The bell measures 7 3/8" in diameter.

The half of the trombone with the bell measures 27 1/2" long from the bell to the handle at the end.
The slide measures 29 1/2" from the spit valve end to the last bar ~ the inner diameter of the slide is approximately 2 3/4" and it slides really smoothly.      This has a lock for the slide and matching serial numbers.

This includes a mouth piece and the original hard case has rust colored interior  There is a sticker and some paint dribbled on one side, as well as wear on the case ~ but the latches work fine.
