1985 Audi Coupe Quattro B2 Facelift in the best colour, Oceanic Blue.This car has been stored in a dry barn for the last 20+ years until this week.
It was started regularly until about 5 years ago. I got it out this week, gave it a quick clean so you can see how good the majority of the car is. I cleaned the plugs, checked it’s sparking which it is, put some jump leads on it and it turns over fine, if you spray it with easystart if fires too. It seems that there’s no fuel to the front so I’m guessing it will need the tank flushing, filters changing and the fuel pump replacing. I can send a video of it turning over.
It interior is in very nice condition, clean and dry. There’s a hole in the drivers seat bolster, otherwise very good.
The body work is pretty straight, a couple of dinks on the bonnet. Rust wise it has some rust on the arches, a few bubbles here and there but overall it looks quite good.
Underneath as far as I can see it looks good too. I imagine there’s bound to be places where it will need attention but nothing obvious.
The handbrake cable seems seized off.
It rolls fine.
I have a modern V5 , service and manuals, old receipts etc
It will be Mot & Tax exempt next year.
Obviously it’s going to take work to get it back on the road but it’ll be definitely worth it, I just know I’m never going to get around to it at the moment and would rather someone else enjoying it.
