The Great Britain Trade Dollar was Struck in colonial India, between 1895 and 1935.
To make the coin desirable to the Traders, the reverse design incorporated inscriptions in easily understood Chinese and Malay script.
While the obverse featured Britannia, the symbol of the British Empire.
