Please meet Cordula, a HUMUNGOUS antique vintage Hermann Teddy bear from Germany!  I'm selling her for a friend.  She has no I.D., but I am quite certain that's who made her.  I believe she's from the 1950's (or possibly before).  She is made of a gray tipped white mohair that is in great shape with slight wear along her front seam and a little loss on the top her left ear, probably from being dragged around by her ear, poor dear.  She has large brown glass eyes and a black stitched nose and mouth.  She has three-claw stitching to each paw with one loose claw on her right hand.  Her paw pads are a pinkish wool felt.  Her growler is working, but can sometimes be temperamental.  I've given her a vintage cotton embroidered Kitty Cat apron to wear.  She is very solidly excelsior stuffed.  She is five-way jointed and for her age she in very good+ condition.  (Great bear!) Cordula is a whopping 22 inches tall and weighs 3, pounds 5 ounces!!!  I am offering free shipping for her to the Continental U.S. only in the hope of getting her adopted.  Unfortunately, she weighs over 4 pounds with her box, so she is way too big to ship overseas, unless you are willing to pay crazy priority prices.  Overseas adopters, please inquire before you bid.  But then again, she is one big bundle of love!  Could she be the one for you???  A genius with a needle, she is looking for a home where she can be the acupuncturist for your local luxury pet spa!  :0)

Check out the last picture for a group photo of all the bears on auction this week!   :0)
Please note:   Upon payment, I ship the next business day.    Whenever possible, my items will now be sent out USPS Ground Advantage, which is much less expensive than Priority Mail, but slightly slower, by a day or two.   Occasionally I use my personal discounted FedEx account as well for larger, heavier items.  If you'd like me to send something Priority, please let me know.

With regret, I am downsizing my teddy bear collection.   I have many different types, which I will be listing in the coming weeks (or months or maybe even years).   For the most part, I relist all the bears that don't get adopted the first time around on the last Saturday of the month.  I live in a smoke-free home, but I do have cats who are barred from the bear room and bunny room(!).

Names, names, names:  If I'm listing an animal crafted by an artist, sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances (don't ask), I do not know his or her proper name.  I simply rename them using my own imagination (which is admittedly quite active).  This is not a slight to the talented artist who created them or meant to confuse the collector...just a way to give them a bit of personality and to have a little fun!   (Feel free to change their name and protect the innocent!)

A quick note about shipping:    Don't you hate it when you're overcharged by a seller on shipping????   A gazillion dollars to cross the pond or go across the country.  It's ridiculous.   I am striving to be accurate in my listing, but sometimes ebay's calculator is way off (especially for those outside the U.S.).   When i calculate shipping, I add in extra weight for the box.    If you're interested in an item outside the U.S., don't be scared by what the calculator is telling you.   Please contact me and I'll find out exactly what it would cost to post to your country and make a note in the listing.  I'll never overcharge you.   If I quote you a number and i can get it to you cheaper, I'll immediately refund the difference.

Please note I am not an expert in teddy bears...I am only downsizing.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Please see pictures.  They are part of the description.  Additional pictures on request.

Payment is due within THREE days of auction end.   Combined shipping is always available.   I only charge actual shipping costs.   If it turns out the shipping estimator is wrong above $1, I will refund you the difference.

I am willing to ship internationally, but please ask if I post to your country and what it would cost BEFORE you bid, as it could be very expensive.  Ebay's calculator can be off either too high or too low!

Check out my other teddies that I am listing this week.

Thank you for looking at my auction
