You are looking at a Pilot Mountain turquoise freeform ribbon cut cabochon. Some call it rainbow or boulder cut. It is natural and comes from the Pilot Mountain mine near Tonopah, Nevada. The total weight of the cab is with a thin layer of backing. The penny shown at 19mm for reference only. The stone in the picture is the one that you will receive.
