Bugl mk3 2.5cc Vintage team race engine. This engine is new and unused. When Paul Bugl died he had assembled only a handful of the new Mk3 Bugls. All of Pauls engine manufacturing equipment and spare parts were purchased by a Danish team race competitor. Over time he assembled, modified and improved the engines that were developed into the BG team race engine.

This engine was assembled from original parts either made by Paul Bugl or by the later Danish owners.

The engine uses Steel liner with cast iron piston, the very complex little end retaining system, push pull contra piston and the special Bugl induction drum bolted to the crankpin. The cylinder securing screws are brass as Bugl felt that the expansion rate of brass screws was advantageous over steel screws (he also used al alloy screws).

The motor has excellent fits turning smoothly with super compression. It is completely original apart from the missing primer nipple that fits into the tapped hole on the back of the exhaust stack.
