I have here for sale a BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER & THE PSALTER OR PSALMS OF DAVID.  Published by John Crook Dublin in 1664.  We are missing the title page of the Book of Common Prayer but have the title page for the Psalter which gives us the date and publisher.  The first page of the Common Prayer is Thanksgiving, so I am not sure how many pages are missing at the beginning.  After the Psalter there is another section entitled The Whole Book of Psalms collected into English Metre by Thomas Sternhold, John Hopkins, and others conferred with the Hebrew, published in 1661, also by John Crook.

Recently rebound in full black calf leather with 4 raised bands and a maroon title label with gilt lettering.  Date label at the base of the spine also.  Red endpapers.  Some sympathetic repair has been done to the first few pages also.  Some marks to some pages and sunned, a rip to one page but all text still readable.  Some ink dates written on the last page, facing the title page of the Psalter.  Common Prayer is unpaginated but the Psalter is 178 pages long and the Whole Book of Psalms 134 pages long and only goes up to Psalm 148 (of 150) so I think we are missing the last page.  21 x 15 cm.
