ONE BIG THING: please check our other mallets for uses w you need a soft, mellow tone like steel tongue drum, marimba, log drum, or rosewood; the Timber Drum Co. TMD2 Soft Rubber or T6ES Extra Soft Rubber mallets are best suited for these purposes
OF NOTE: handles are made of smooth solid birch with rounded tips and are well balanced; we stain the handles by hand in our shop to bring out the natural wood grain for a high-end look
