This carved wood sculpture is not your typical African figure! I would call this a FEMALE due to the lip color. However, I guess it could also depict an adolescent male.

In any event, it is unique and well done. This well detailed wood carving is about 7" x 14" and is ready to hang on a wall.

This Nubian WARRIOR holds a painted SHIELD and SPEAR. There is hair ('mohawk') or head decor at the top.

It is in very good condition.
