Another very early piece we're offering is this Sands Sarsaparilla bottle. Hand blown into a two part mold in a greenish aqua colored glass, circa 1850s. Has an applied and concave base with a huge open tube pontil, very cool. Size is 6-1/8" tall x 2-1/8" wide. We note overall wear & scratches but no chips, cracks, stains or repairs. The glass is crude & whittled. Found with the other early bottles I have listed. Thanks for looking! |
