CANADA 1897 3c Small Queen cover sealed with PLATE G IMPRINT PIECES

3c vermilion Queen Victoria Small Queen (Scott #41), tied by split ring cancel to cover from BAY DU VIN, N.B. (partial strike) to Harcourt, Kent County, "opened but not read" (in error) and released with pieces of sheet margin from 3c Small Queen showing imvpint Type VII and Plate G inscription. Some faults but an unusual item.
