About Ward Hoard

We are an established business dedicated to the resale of the extensive and fabulous range of old (no longer available) as well as more recent Christopher Ward watches.  Have a look at our website for more details of our full range of CW watches and straps.

Pricing and offers

Because of the significant fees here, we are unable to offer any discount here or accept offers. We have an extensive range of CWs on our website (possibly even of the same model in a different strap configuration) covering most budgets and we also buy watches/take as part exchange. Check us out - Ward Hoard.

Please also note that our watches are advertised elsewhere - I'm generally pretty quick at ending the listings here when they sell on our site, but there can be a short delay while they are in fact unavailable.

Christopher Ward C60 Trident 300 Quartz 38mm

Introduction

The Mk1 C60 Trident hit the watch world in 2009, but it was only available with an automatic movement. It wasn’t until 2015 and the arrival or the Mk2 Trident, that Christopher Ward introduced their first Quartz C60 model, which they named the Trident 300, after its 300m water depth rating. The C60 300 is visually very similar to the Mk1 C60 Trident Pro, with just a couple of visual clues: 1) It just says “Trident” on the face, not “Trident Pro” and 2) the second hand ticks instead of sweeps.

This is an August 2016 watch which wears the CHR. WARD logo - in 2017 they switched to the current logo placed at 9 o’clock so one of the later ones.

Being a quartz model, it doesn’t have the taller, tapered case back of its automatic cousin, so it sits a little lower on the wrist. For me, it actually sits much better on my wrist than the autos do!

Like the Mk1 C60s, the Mk3 also doesn’t have a quartz model available, so if you’re looking for a good value, daily wearable Christopher Ward which doesn’t need setting after it has sat for a few days, this Mk2 could make a great solution.

Warranty

It comes with a three month Ward Hoard warranty.

Strap

Fitted with a brand new black CW hybrid strap.

Price includes this strap - other options are:

  • Without a strap: discount of £40.

Condition

It’s in very good used condition. With the C60 300s all having alloy bezels (as used on the Mk1 Pros), they’re more prone to marks than their ceramic C60 600 Pro big brothers, and this one has a couple of marks by 50/55 that are hard to see unless you really look for them. There are a couple of marks on the lugs, but it is a pretty clean example.

It’s offered with its original box and manual with certificate of authenticity.
