This neat, uncommon, Japanese Naval mail was sent on November 22, 1915from a Japanese sailor serving aboard the battleship, H.I.J.M. Kurama! The armored cruiser was docked at Kobe, Japan, at the time of writing. Kurama served in WW1 as part of Japan's contribution to the Allied war effort, protecting British merchant shipping in the South Pacific, and (together with the battlecruisers Kongo and Hiei) supporting the landings to occupy German-held Caroline and Mariana Islands. There is a mention of a departure in the message, but not to where.

To continue, the blue, 1.5-Sen Japanese definitive, is in fine condition! The CDS from the Yokosuka P.O. is quite fine!

Lastly, as for the post card, itself, it's in superb condition! It's very clean, and has very little wear and tear on it! Simply put, this a nifty piece of Imperial Japanese Naval postal history connected to the H.I.J.M. Kurama!
