Unused c1930. Launched in 1906 at the shipyard of Burmeister & Wain, Copenhagen. Sold to Gustav Erikson of Mariehamn, Finland. 1939 -1944 Laid up at Mariehamn due to the war. 1944 Used as a floating grain storage in Stockholm, Sweden. 1947 Laid up in Antwerp for two years. 1950 after having been laid up in Rotterdam, the Viking was sold to Gothenburg, Sweden to be used as a stationary school ship. Minor edge wear (see scan) otherwise in very good condition. UNION CASTLE WATERMARK NOT ON POSTCARD.
