This is a very attractive, rare, prices-current wrapper(more than 67% complete; paper in very fine condition!) sent from Isaac Hadwen, Jun., and Co., Liverpool(nice, "466," bar numeral cancels!), England, to Messrs. Drabble Brothers & Co., Buenos Aires, Argentina, in May 1856 for one penny(Penny Red in very fine condition; wildly misperfed!)! Isaac Hadwen, Jun., and Company was in the business in buying and selling animal hides, bones, etc.! From the wrapper, it looks like a lot of their imports were from The Americas, Asia, and some countries in Europe! The mail went through Southampton, England, where it was put on a steamer headed to South America! Simply put, this is a really neat piece of British and Argentinian postal history!
