Starting to part with some of the last of my comics from my once vast collection

I picked this "set" up from a fellow collector YEARS (decades) ago

Its obvious the same original owner bought and collected and kept these - they kept them pretty nice (far from mint of course- but they are not "dogged"

- why do i say its obvious same person owned them from day 1....  because of how exactly and nicely the Marvel Value Stamps on each were cut out.... almost exactly the same

I know that hurts the value obviously but atleast the bright side is that they were not "torn out"

I know both Comics are worth quite a but and i AM SELLING THEM AS A SET/LOT (please dont ask me to separate the lot)  they go well together-  condition wise, MVS cut out on each, and they both have the same "feel"

I have taken numerious photos with my digital camera and then on the the batch of closeups with my Iphone for max quality.
1. a photo together showing the pair
2. then each separately
3. then a batch of closeups of #181
4. followed by a batch of closeups of #182
(you will see the progression)

PLEASE PLEASE do not assume anything, ask questions, ask for photos.  ONCE these send out there are no returns - I am not a professional collector nor grader but with full disclosure i am uploading many pictures and welcome you to ask for more of page #??? you pick it.

THESE ARE NOT GRADED COMICS... you use the photo and determine how you would grade them..... my guess is the winner will have them professionally graded by one of the companies to increase value immediately... i am not doing that.

There are no creases or folds.

SPECIFIC NOTES- and they are pictured:

#181  - NOV 1974
- MVS stamp cut out
- back cover page lower middle has a 1" tear
- corners not sharp and mint (this may be called "soft" corners")

#182 -DEC 1974
- MVS stamp cut out
- crease seam stapled edge is not perfectly folded from production (there is white showing along the line)  - maybe called this an offcentered fold line from marvel
- like #181 corners not sharp and mint (this may be called "soft" corners")

I think this is a great 2 comic lot that captures the first appearance (and 2nd app) of the Wolverine in comics as well as Hammer and Anvil.

Please ask questions!  Please ask for photos... i will do my best to accommodate all inquiries due to the condition sensative nature of these the hyper valuable comics in the comic world.

I have stored all photos of both books that you see (and more) logged on my end for security (again due to the value)

They will be mailed via FEDEX or UPS only - and will be insured to full value -  i have comic bags and backer boards - however i do not have hard plastic holders (if you want them mailed in that form of protection - you will cover that expense- however i have mailed sensative flat material before and i well versed on making a rigid mailer and they WILL NOT GET BENT (unless the shipper simply decides they want to bend something that is not meant to bend)

Oh yeah,,,, i welcome local pick up!  if you are in the SW Florida region , absolutely I encourage you to make a visit and hand pickup! I would hold them for you until we arrange a convenient time.

I will embark into my vintage spiderman next after this sale
