These are neat little compact prism binoculars made in Occupied Japan. Japan was occupied after
WW2 from 1945 to 1952 so somewhere in that timeframe was when they were manufactured.
These can be easily held in ones hand, yet with 6 power do a good job of bringing things up closer.
Clarity is quite good and each eyepiece is individually focused. These binoculars were probably used
by someone over the years as some surfaces are worn, but overall seem very good functionally. Prism
binoculars cost more to manufacture then the plain, regular binoculars so at the time these were state of
the art. If you are a collector of Occupied Japan things, you will able to get these at a good price. If
you just need a compact binocular for sports events, opera, or everyday use these should be ideal.
Let the photos be the description. Made by T.O.M Company and maybe the brand is Vision or is
that the model?
