POSTAL CHARGES

NB: I CAN ONLY GET TO THE POST OFFICE ON A SATURDAY

I try to make my postal charges as reasonable as possible as I don't like charging more than is necessary.  I take into account the actual cost of postage plus packaging and also take into consideration the cost of petrol and parking (which doesn't come cheap at the best of times) or bus fares to the Post Office.  Please bare in mind that eBay now charges final value fees on the combined value of the item listed including postage!  Therefore, my postal charges barely cover my costs!  If winning more than item, PLEASE WAIT FOR ME TO SEND YOU A REVISED INVOICE WITH A COMBINED POSTAGE DISCOUNT.  If you pay for items separately I will be unable to give you a full refund for postage overpaid as eBay fees are not refunded when I give a refund!

If I find I have grossly overcharged, I usually refund this, either with a personal cheque or by PayPal.  Occasionally, I actually manage to 'undercharge' especially with the new system of 'sizing mail'.

I always obtain ‘Proof of Posting’.

Items are usually posted once a week on SATURDAY, although sometimes I will post during the week if I can get to the PO.  If you need an item sooner, please contact me.

PLEASE NOTE:  Although I check that stamps have been placed on all items mailed out and this is checked a second time and then a third time at the Post Office when obtaining Proof of Posting, I cannot be held responsible on the rare occasion that stamps are taken off by dishonest people somewhere along the posting system.  If this should happen to you (which I hope it does not) I can only apologise in advance.

MULTIPLE BIDS

If you are bidding on several items and some end sooner than others, please let me know so that I can prevent an ‘unpaid item reminder’ being sent.  Also, as I combine postage, please wait for me to send a revised invoice.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY SERVICES

I advise that if an item sells for over £15 - £50, it should be sent Royal Mail Signed For.  Items sold for over £50 - £500 should be sent Special Delivery Next Day.  The postage prices given are on weight up to 100g and are optional but if not taken up, will not be covered if lost in the post, for which I cannot be held responsible. NB: Please ask for international postage fees.

Overseas bidders, please ask for price of postage.

If you require any other postal service, please let me know.

FEEDBACK

I always try to leave feedback for a buyer as soon as the item won has been posted, although sometimes this may be late if I have not had time.  I believe that sellers should leave feedback first as the buyer pays first and then receives the goods.  

Sellers are unable to leave negative feedback for non-paying bidders.  However, negative comments will be left and non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay and blocked!

PLEASE NOTE! 

I NO LONGER DELIVER ITEMS TO ITALY DUE TO NEARLY EVERY ITEM POSTED NOT BEING RECEIVED!  I REGRET HAVING TO TAKE THIS ACTION BUT CANNOT AFFORD THE LOSSES INCURRED AND THE STRESS INVOLVED IN TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES ENTAILED.
