ITEM DESCRIPTION

The item you are purchasing is shown in the photo 2.

This fabric is from a "Tomesode" (formal) kimono. These kimono are worn at weddings by mothers of bride and/or groom. Hence, Tomesode are of very high quality and are highly sophisticated.

The base fabric colour is black as is always the case with Tomesode. 
The panel is smooth and mat with nice silk sheen.

This is a typical "Kaga Yuzen" dye, which was dyed in Kanazawa area. The picture is slightly animetic and no gold fabrications are applied in the design.
A little bird (half) is flying among full bloom of ume-plum flowers and pine tree branches. Rough water is flowing at the bottom.

Please note this is not a full sized kimono.   The size of the fabric is about 37cm x 105cm. The height of the pictured area is about 44cm and the remainder is solid black.
CONDITION
This fabric is in very good used condition. Ironed but not washed.  I un-stitched an unsed kimono, there are lines where fabrics were used to be sewn together. The left seam line (5cm from the left edge) is quite distinctively discoloured (photo 9).  Please refer to the photos as photos are a part of the description.

Please note this is not a new item and although I always check the item carefully before listing, there might be very minor defects which missed my attention.

P+p to UK address is GBP2.30. (second class)

International Destinations: Items will be sent by Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed which is a trackable and insured service.
After Brexit the post has been very volatile. Please note that the delivery time can be later than the Ebay estimated time. Please only bid if you agree with it.

 I will combine postage.  If you buy multiple buy-it-now items from me:

 3. In the next page, click "Commit to Buy & Submit Request"
 4. I will send you an invoice with combined postage
 5. Make a payment according to the invoice

 If the above method doesn't work (I think it depends on the browser you are using), proceed to make payments and then I will refund the excess payment.

The Royal Mail compensates only up to GBP20.00 when lost.  If your combined orders exceed GBP20.00, I will only post it by signed-for (GBP1.30 extra).  (in UK)
