Antique Emaux de Longwy French Japonisme Bird In Bonsai Tree Enameled Art Pottery Covered Dresser or Trinket Jar

Approximately 6" at the widest point x 2.5" tall. 

Unusual shape, this gorgeous Longwy dresser or trinket jar or box is decorated in the French Japonisme movement style with a lovely bird in a Japanese black pine tree or bonsai tree with vibrant colored florals.

Decorated and signed (Decore a la Main Rehausse) by JM, possibly J.B. Mayer who was with the factory at the end of the 19th century.

A few factory manufacturers flaws in the lid but no damage as far as I can tell. Intentional crackle glaze and some minor crazing present. Otherwise in pristine condition.
