This is vintage, a very good precise copy of hat for General of the Soviet Union Military Police Troops. This hat is for USSR General parade uniform. The hat was made in Ukraine in 1990s. It was made for movie companies by Ukrainian Military Factory. The hat is a copy of original general hat. The hat has black leather peak and burgundy band. This beautiful hat is embroidered. The hat is very high quality copy.

The difference from other copies is that this one has authentic general cap badge. Original generals' cap badges are 2 piece construction. Please note that the star is the separate piece connected to the cap badge by 2 rivets and elevated over the cap badge (see picture). Cap badge and buttons are gold plated. The hat is made out of great quality wool and lined with silk serge. The sweatband is made out of genuine leather, and has a red silk string for an adjustable fit. This feature is available only for generals and marshals caps. Russian size is 60, which is equal to 7-1/2 US size or 23.6 inches circumference. The hat is in excellent vintage condition. This copy is very well made like the original Soviet Military Generals caps. Like in original Soviet Generals' cap this one has a steel plate in front and a spring around the top. This structure allows keeping shape of the caps permanently.
